The data header is a piping component with several ports along oraround its length that provides access to the flowstream for sampling, monitoring of pressure and temperature, sand erosion monitoring, and chemical injection, also called Injection header.
It is ususally mounted in the production flow path upstream and downstream of the surface choke manifold.
