Wellhead Studded Block Cross and Studded Tees API 6A Wellhead Integral Fittings
Studded Block Crosses and tees are worked as very basic commodity in the wellhead industry which are important components for Wellhead Christmas Tree, when an angled connection in wellhead Christmas Tree is required. The studded crosses in four way or three way are wellhead fittings that can be used to arrange a set of valves, adapters, flanges and other components into any needed configuration.
In most instances, the studded block crosses and tees will be utilized to connect the vertical run of valves in a production or “Christmas” tree, with the horizontal run or “wing” section
The studded block crosses are made from solid metal block. Boundary Dimensions - Bore and centerline-to-face dimension shall conform to API 6A standards. Common configurations of studded crosses include 4 way, 5 way, and 6 way crosses along with pressure ratings from 2,000 to 15,000 psi.
