Dual Studded Adapter Flange
Dual Studded Adapter Flange is a kind of API adapter flange used in wellhead assembly, it is a kind of wellhead flange adapters which are designed according to API 6A specification. The dual studded adapter flange will be installed on to API wellheads and provide a transition between the xmas tree and the well intervention pressure control equipment.The both ends of dual studded adapter flange are usually different in size and/or pressure rating. Dual studded adapter flanges are commonly utilised to connect and adapt flanges with different nominal sizes, pressure ratings, and configurations.
The dual studded adapter flange is made of high-strength alloy steel AISI 4130 and processed specially with heating treatment, which will be with long service time. The DSAF is applied for Hydrogen sulfide H2S resistant servicewith reference to NACEMR-0175 specifications. JC wellhead is able to supply the Dual Studded Adapter Flange in sizes from 1-13/16" to 30" and working pressure up to 15000PSI. For sour service, all ring grooves can be inlaid with stainless steel SS316 or inconel 625 for better protection.
