Oil Well Drilling Rig Rotary Swivel SL225 API 8A Rig Swivel
The oilfield drilling rig Swivel is necessary hoisting tools for hanging drill pipe and jointing hose in well drilling and repairing operation.
The swivel used in the drilling rig is designed and manufactured in accordance with API Spec 8C SY5210 and other related technical standards.The loaded parts are made of high quality alloy steel.The flushing pipes and packing can be dismantled easily for replacement by design of a portable packing unit.
The drilling rig rotary swivel consists of bail, bail pin, housing,support, gooseneck, central pipe, sub, and packing device.This swivel mainly consists rotary part, fixed part, spinner part and sealed part.Swivel stem bears all the pressures caused by the whole weight and inside mud pressure of drill stringThe packing device connects with the central pipe and the gooseneck pipe via the nuts , which forms passageway for drilling fluid. The packing device is an important part for sealing high pressure mud. It features self-sealing and quick disassembling structure. When wash pipe and packings are worn and needed to be replaced, only need to screw off the upper and lower nuts, then you can take out the whole device from one side, no need to disassemble other parts.
