API 6A Wellhead Christmas Tree Dual Wing X-Tree 3000 Psi Working Pressure
The Christmas Tree is the upper surface equipment system attached to the wellhead below. Generally installed as a unit, immediately after production tubing is suspended.
It is an assembly of equipment, including tubing head adapters, valves, tees or crosses, top connectors and chokes attached to the uppermost connection of the tubing head, used to control well production.
The Christmas tree provides a means to control the flow of produced fluids coming up the well. It may also be used to control the flow of fluids injected into the well.
Christmas tree and its components must be designed to meet the minimum safety criteria; and their design should comply with internationally recognized standards such as API 6A, ISO 9000, ISO 10423.
The X-Mas Tree has various type base on different applications, i.e. single wing, double wing and so on. Normally the X-Mas tree is composed by Tubing Head Spool adapter, Master Valves, Wing valves, Crown valves, Positive and Adjustable choke valve and Tree cap.
